Side Effects of Tolterodine

Abdominal pain, dry mouth, headache, and constipation are some of the most commonly reported side effects of tolterodine. While these side effects are minor in most cases, it is possible to develop serious problems that require immediate medical attention. Notify your healthcare provider right away if you experience such tolterodine side effects as an irregular heart rhythm, confusion, or worsening of glaucoma.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Tolterodine

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with tolterodine tartrate (Detrol®); however, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
