Methyltestosterone Capsule Information

The methyltestosterone capsule (Testred®) is a drug prescribed to increase levels of testosterone in men. It is also approved in certain cases to treat symptoms of advanced breast cancer in women. The medication is taken at least once a day, up to four times a day. There are currently no generic versions of this drug available.

Although the medicine is generally well tolerated, it is not suitable for everyone. Before taking methyltestosterone capsules, make sure your healthcare provider has current information on your medical history and a list of any medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking. Also, make sure to let your healthcare provider know if you have any allergies or medical conditions, such as liver disease, an enlarged prostate, or problems with fertility.
