Precautions and Warnings With Rivastigmine

Talk to your healthcare provider about precautions and warnings with rivastigmine to help reduce the risk of side effects. For example, the medication may cause severe gastrointestinal reactions, seizures, and significant weight loss in some people. Before starting rivastigmine, tell your healthcare provider about any existing medical conditions you have and other medicines you are taking to further minimize risks.
