Reminyl

Reminyl® (galantamine hydrobromide) is the old name for Razadyne®, a prescription medication used to treat Alzheimer's disease. Awhile back, there were a few reports of confusion between Reminyl and a similar-sounding medication, Amaryl® (glimepiride), used to treat diabetes. As a result, the manufacturer of Reminyl decided to change the name to Razadyne.

(Please see Razadyne for more information about this medication.)
