Naproxen/Esomeprazole Magnesium
Naproxen/esomeprazole magnesium is a drug prescribed for treating osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. The esomeprazole component of this combination medication is added to help prevent stomach ulcers due to the naproxen component. Common side effects may include heartburn, diarrhea, and indigestion. You may not be able to use this medicine if you have certain medical problems, such as asthma or heart disease.
Naproxen/esomeprazole magnesium (Vimovo™) is a prescription medication approved for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It can also help to prevent stomach ulcers.
Naproxen/esomeprazole magnesium contains a medication that relieves pain and inflammation (naproxen), as well as an ingredient (esomeprazole magnesium) to reduce the risk of ulcers due to naproxen.

Just like any medicine, naproxen/esomeprazole magnesium can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
