Memantine XR

Memantine XR is a prescription Alzheimer's disease medication. It comes in the form of an extended-release capsule and is only taken once daily. Although this medicine is tolerated well by most people, it is not suitable for everyone. You may not be able to use it if you have certain conditions, such as epilepsy or kidney disease, or if you are using certain medications.

Are There Side Effects?

Just like any medicine, memantine XR can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will experience problems. Most people tolerate it quite well.
