The dose of tofacitinib your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on the following factors:
 
  • Your kidney and liver function
  • How you respond to the medication
  • Other medications you are taking.

If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for the next dose. In this case, simply skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
