If you take certain medications, vitamins, or supplements in combination with tofacitinib, it may lead to drug interactions. Some of the products that may cause problems include cortisone, St. John's wort, and certain immunosuppressants. In some cases, reactions to tofacitinib can cause complications like dangerous infections, serious side effects, or decreased effectiveness of the medications.
