Ropinirole XL (Requip® XL) is a prescription medication that is taken once a day to treat Parkinson's disease. It can be used alone or in combination with other Parkinson's medications, and is approved to treat both early and advanced forms of the disease. Ropinirole XL comes in tablet form and is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include dizziness, nausea, and involuntary movements.
