Overdose Information

It is not known what exactly to expect from an overdose. In one case, an individual who used too much Delatestryl experienced a stroke, probably related to extremely high testosterone levels. Symptoms are probably more likely from chronic overdoses (taking too high of a dosage on an on-going basis), rather than a single, one-time overdose.
If you happen to overdose on this medication, seek immediate medical attention.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Delatestryl?

If you happen to realize you missed a dose shortly after you were supposed to receive it, it is usually best to inject the medication right away and then adjust your injection schedule to prevent receiving doses too close together, particularly if you were several days late with your dose.

How Should This Medication Be Stored?

Delatestryl should be stored at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets. Delatestryl vials are "multidose" vials. This means they contain preservatives and can be used more than one time.

Available Strengths

The medication is available in one strength -- Delatestryl 200 per mL (5-mL multidose vials).

Is There a Generic Version of Delatestryl?

This medication is available in generic form (click Generic Delatestryl for more information).
