Hylan G-F 20 (
Synvisc®) is an
osteoarthritis treatment that is injected directly into the knee. There are no known hylan G-F 20 drug interactions at this time. This means that significant drug interactions are not expected. Hylan G-F 20 is unlikely to affect any medications, and medications are unlikely to affect it.
It is possible, however, that there may be drug interactions with hylan G-F 20 that are currently unknown but that may be discovered at a later date. Therefore, it is always a good idea to include hylan G-F 20 in your list of medications when checking for interactions. Also, be sure to check with your healthcare provider about any possible interactions that may apply to your particular situation.
