Drug Interactions With Galantamine

A number of medications may cause drug interactions with galantamine, including ciprofloxacin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ketoconazole, and anticholinergic medicines. These negative interactions can increase your risk for side effects or reduce the effectiveness of the medications. To help prevent galantamine drug interactions, make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking before starting Alzheimer's treatment.

Galantamine Drug Interactions: An Overview

Galantamine hydrobromide (Razadyne®) can potentially interact with several different medications. Some of the medicines that may lead to galantamine interactions include:
