Diclofenac Eye Drops
Diclofenac eye drops are commonly used for treating symptoms following eye surgeries. Specifically, it is used to treat eye pain, inflammation, and sensitivity to light. The medication is typically placed in the eye four times a day. Although most people have no problems with it, side effects are possible and include burning, irritation, and eye tearing.

Just like any medicine, diclofenac eye drops may cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious reactions are less common.
In studies, the most commonly reported diclofenac eye drops side effects included:
- Burning
- Irritation
- Inflammation
- Eye tearing problems.
