Phenytoin (Dilantin, Phenytek)
Phenytoin can make carbidopa (combined with levodopa) less effective. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Tricyclic Antidepressants
There have been reports of occasional problems (such as high blood pressure or involuntary body movements) when carbidopa and levodopa were combined with a tricyclic antidepressant. Check with your healthcare provider before combining carbidopa with a tricyclic antidepressant.
