Androderm® (testosterone patch) is a medicated skin patch prescribed to help increase low levels of testosterone in men. Previously, it was available in 2.5-mg and 5-mg patches. However, those products have been replaced by newer, lower strengths. There are two strengths of this patch available: 2 mg and 4 mg. Androderm is applied to the skin every evening, between 8 p.m. and midnight.
The recommended initial dose of Androderm is 4 mg every 24 hours. Your healthcare provider may adjust your dosage based on your testosterone levels.
